My cousin is throwing me a baby shower. What kind of gift should I give her?

Congratulations on the baby on the way!! Although a gift is not required for the hostess, it is a great way to say thank you. Remember that it is not necessary to spend a lot of money on your hostess gift. A heartfelt thank you note is also a perfectly good way to say thank you.

If you would like to get your hostess a gift, make it simple and from the heart.

Think of something that your hostess would enjoy having. It could be something to help her relax, after throwing you such a fabulous baby shower. Some ideas could be a candle, bubble bath, a relaxing cd, chocolates (always a winner!!),lotion, a blockbuster gift card, a manicure or pedicure.

You could put a few things together in a little gift basket for her. Like a movie night basket that has a blockbuster gift card, popcorn, and some theatre candy.

You can also frame a picture of both of you from the shower with a sweet thank you note.
