I had a chance to make the yummy caramel brownies again, and this time I was able to snap a picture of the caramel goodness center. The lighting was off the first time I made them, so the original pictures did not do it any justice. Hello caramel! If you haven't tried this recipe yet, you just have to try it! You won't regret it. ;)

A classic party food, pickle roll ups are a quick and fun appetizer to make. If it sounds gross, don't knock it til you try it. It is a mix of creamy and salty and pretty good. Though they would work for any baby shower, I think it would be especially fun to use them for a "pickles and ice cream" theme.

I tested these bad boys last night to a neighborhood of kids and got an enthusiastic 2 thumbs up. The whole tray was gobbled up quickly with great enthusiasm. This appetizer is a definite winner. :-)

I love the flavor that fresh raspberries can give a chocolate dessert. That is what makes this dessert so amazingly refreshing. By the way, this trifle tastes just as delicious as it looks. :) I've also added the recipe to my favorite "death by chocolate cake" to use in it to make it even more dangerously decadent. ;)

These are the ones. The cupcakes that started my love for cupcakes. Not the kind of cupcakes that you make from a box. But real cupcakes, made from scratch, with a mix of intense and delicate flavors that captivate your senses. In my opinion, you either love cupcakes or haven't tried a real cupcake yet. And if you haven't...you should, soon. :-) These cupcakes start off with a oreo cookie base. Then chunks of oreo goodness are mixed into a vanilla batter for an extra pop of flavor. A cream cheese frosting tops it off for the perfect compliment to the cupcake.

I am always looking for delicious desserts that can be made ahead of time. Anything that will make the last minute crunch before the party easier, is double points in my book. I love how light and easy this dessert is! This dessert is better when made at least 4-24 hours ahead of time. You just mix up the ingredients, layer, place in the refrigerator and your done! I love the combo of silk flowers and baby sock roses that Serree used making this sock rose bouquet. It turned out so pretty. Serree also made an adorable baby bootie diaper cake to go along with it. I used 6 pairs of baby socks, I rolled them up starting with the end of the sock to cuff. Then I flipped the cuff over so that the sock looks like a blooming rose.
