Use Cake Soap For Your Baby Shower Centerpiece
"I've found that special, homemade item that is going to rock the baby shower I am planning with my sister-in-law's sister for my sister-in-law's first baby due next year. I was searching on a crafter only website called www.etsy.com and found something called a SOAP CAKE. So after a few conversations with a few different sellers, I'm having a custom soap cake made in the color of the sex of the kid. (Maybe 2 cakes based on the attendance we are expecting.) It will have different flavors of soap so that as a favor for guests they get to 'cut' a slice of the soap cake and take it home to use! All I'll need to provide is a knife, baggies and ties for them to choose the flavor soap they want from the cake and bag it to go!
The pink and blue soap cake pictures are examples of doing more decoration on the exterior of the soap cake. The full cake soap pictures identify that you can use things like a 'frosting' look-alike with crushed herbs or flowers to make it look like a real topping
