Candy Buffet
by: Laurie

Great ideas, Nisha.

Here's another one I just wanted to throw into the mix:

A new trend in weddings (that would work great for a shower) is the candy buffet.

Find 5-8 bowls/fishbowls/glass canisters and fill each one up with a different type of candy. Have a little scoop for each one along with small plastic baggies.

The sign could read something like,

"Welcome to (Mom's name) candy buffet.
Grab a bag
Fill with a treat
And always remember
Life is sweet!"

If it's a large shower, you can find MUCH cheaper wholesale candy at candywarehouse.com. Also, for small cellophane or paper bags, papermart.com is awesome too. Small metal scoops can be found on Amazon. At least, that's where I found all of my supplies for my reception, and can personally recommend those stores. Two years later, people STILL tell me how much they loved the candy buffet idea!
