Inviting Out Of Town Friends and Family
by Mel
(Alabama)
I have a lot of friends and family who live out of state, who would love to participate in my baby shower, but physically cannot. Do I send them an invitation anyway?
Our Answer:
Hi Mel,
Thanks for your etiquette question. Sending your out of town friends and family an invitation is a very considerate gesture. By sending them an invitation, you are helping them feel like they are part of the celebration. It also gives them the chance to show up if they happen to be in the area.
It is always better to invite than to not and find out later that they would of come if they had known about the shower.
I hope that helps. Good luck with your pregnancy and baby shower!
