Soda Bottle Baby

by Sue
(Manchester, New Jersey)

I take a two litter soda bottle wash it out and put a slit in it. I then replace the lid. Then you fill it with little things like teethers, light plugs, rattles, nail clippers, spoons, wash cloths, etc. From craft foam I make two arms and two legs. Glue them to the bottle put little sneakers, or booties on the feet, and scratch mittens on the hands. Put a newborn diaper on it then a onesie over that. The head is a strofoam ball painted flesh, etc add some wiggly eyes and a nose. I make a slit for the mouth deep enough to hold a pacifer in it. Then put a hat on the head. The last thing to do is to wrap the baby in a blanket. Everyone tells me it looks like a real baby. I sell them for 70 dollars.

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THEM EMAIL ME @ suzbubbles@aol.com I will help you out. You can make them from the small soda bottles and fill with candy for a favor.
