Ice Cream Baby Shower

I am looking for ideas for a relaxed office baby shower with about 20 people. It is for a baby girl. I was thinking of doing ice cream sundaes for the shower.

I'm not sure if your shower is going to be held during the lunch hour or not. If it is, you will want to keep the games at a minimum since the typical work lunch hour is only 30 mins to an hour long.

Since you would like to have ice cream sundaes during the baby shower, I think a pickles and ice cream theme would be perfect to use. If you google pickles and ice cream plates, you will find plenty of places that carry fun tableware to match.

You could provide a video tape or journal for your guests to share their parenting advice, just in case she ever gets "in a pickle".

For the food, I like the idea of the ice cream sundaes for your guests. You can also have a wide assortment of different types of pickles, meats and cheeses on trays for your guests to enjoy.
There is also a pickles in a blanket recipe I discovered a while back at allrecipes.com that looks like it would be fun to try out.

Depending on your timeframe you can add in a few fun games or activities from our games section. Seeing how it is a relaxed baby shower, a good ice breaker will help get everyone cozy enough to socialize and enjoy the party.

P.S. I know you said the shower is relaxed, but there is a fabulous ice cream flower centerpiece in our centerpiece section that would go great with the theme if you feel up to it!
