Music At A Baby Shower
Is it ok to play music at a baby shower? If so what kind? Our Answer
Thanks for your question. Music at a baby shower is a personal preference, but ok to do so under baby shower etiquette. As far as the type of music, think about the tastes of your guests. If you have a wide range of ages and tastes, keep the music as respectful as possible. A lot of people who choose to use music at a baby shower, choose softer music and music that has to do with babies.
If you choose to do this, it doesn't have to be "baby" music like Baby Einstein, but with the word baby in the song like "Baby Love" and "Baby, Baby" might be fun. Music is also used for games, like the musical chairs game and name that tune. It is not required to have music the whole time and the right type of music can really add to the atmosphere of the occasion.
One of my favorite lullaby cds are ones from the rockabye collection
. They take popular rock groups and make sweet lullabies to their music. It would be a fun gift to get and play at the shower and see if people can guess the songs. ;)
I hope that helps! Good Luck With The Baby Shower!
