Better Than Sex Baby Shower Cake

This cake is perfect for a baby shower and the "topic" of babies! If kids are at the shower you can name it like I did. I called it "Better than making babies cake!" Although...most of the guests say making babies are more fun. ;)

Ingredients:

1 devil's food cake mix
1 bottle of caramel ice cream topping
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
1 container of whipped topping
Skor candy bar or another candy bar

Make cake according to directions on the box. Use the bottom of a spoon handle to poke holes in cake. You can also make slits in the top if you don't want the topping to soak down to the bottom. Set aside a little caramel topping for decorating. Mix the caramel topping with the sweetened condensed milk in a saucepan over low heat until warm. Pour over the warm cake. Cover cake with whipped topping. Break candy bar(s) in chunks and sprinkle on top of cake. Drizzle left over caramel topping on the cake as decoration.

Thank you so much for sharing your better than sex cake with us Carla! It is also one of my favorites. For some variety for those who would like to try it, here is the vanilla version of the better than sex cake. I am still a fan of the chocolate, but the vanilla version is also good.

Ingredients:
1 box vanilla or yellow cake mix
2 boxes instant vanilla pudding (3.5 oz size)
1 can of crushed pineapple- with the juice (20 ounce size)
3/4 cup of sugar
toasted coconut
nuts- optional as a topping
1- 8 oz. container of cool whip
3 cups of milk

To make the cake:
Bake cake according to the directions on the box. Meanwhile, simmer can of crushed pineapple (with the juice) on the stove top with the sugar until it is thick and syrupy. It should take around 20 minutes. When cake is done, use a fork or back of spoon to poke holes in cake. Make sure to get the holes evenly spread all over the cake. Pour pineapple sauce over the cake and allow to fully cool.

Before serving: Mix pudding mixes with the milk and smooth pudding over cake. Top with whipped topping. Sprinkle nuts on top if you would like.
