What a yummy recipe! I love buffalo chicken so I am definitely going to use it in the future. Thanks for sharing it with us Samantha!

Samantha's Buffalo Chicken Dip:

This is a baby shower recipe that is always a huge hit. It goes really fast!

2 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese, softened
2 (10 oz.) cans chunk chicken, drained
1 cup Ranch dressing
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
3/4 cup buffalo hot sauce (like Franks)

You will also need some carrot sticks, celery sticks, crackers for serving.

Warm up chicken and hot sauce in a skillet over medium heat. Stir in cream cheese and ranch dressing, until well blended and warm. Mix in half of the shredded cheese. Transfer the mixture to a slow cooker.

Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top, cover, and cook on Low setting until hot and bubbly. You can also use a shallow baking dish in the oven instead of the slow cooker.

Some Additional Ideas for the Dip:
You can swap out the canned chicken for a rotisserie chicken. Rotisserie chickens have great flavor and are a quick alternative for canned chicken.

Instead of using a slow cooker, display dip in a party platter surrounded by Tostitos scoop chips, celery sticks, chips and crackers. You could also put the dip in a bread bowl for a nice look.

I love buffalo chicken dip!
by: Jessica

I love this recipe! I have made it a few times and it is HIGHLY addicting. Here are some changes I made to the recipe. I took the advice and swapped out rotisserie chicken for the canned chicken. I prepped the dip the day before so it would be quicker to put together. I mixed the ranch dressing and cream cheese together and put in a container. Then I cooked the chicken on the stove with the Franks Hot Sauce and put that into another container. Then the day of, I would get an 8x8 dish and layer the cream cheese mixture on the bottom, I would cover than with the chicken mixture and then add the cheese on top. Then I would bake it at 350 until the cheese is melted. Quick and easy! I also like the layered look better. It is much prettier.
