Cucumber Sandwiches For A Baby Shower

The cucumber sandwiches are so addicting! I had a couple people ask me for the recipe at a recent baby shower I hosted. I like how light it is.
To make the cucumber sandwiches start with
1 package of softened cream cheese (8 oz)
1/2 cup mayonaise
2 medium cucumbers that have been sliced
2 loaves of french bread, cut up in 1 inch slices
1 packet of dry Italian Seasoning mix
a pinch of dill weed
Mix together the dry italian dressing, cream cheese and mayonaise in a bowl. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight.
Spread the cream cheese mixture on slices of french bread. Top with a slice of cucumber and a sprinkle of dill weed. These can be served open faced or as a french bread sandwich.
Yummy!
I've heard others use different kinds of bread. If you use thinner bread, you can also use cookie cutters to cut the sandwiches into baby shapes.
