diaper wreath instructions

This is a great diaper wreath that I made. I made it gender neutral to start. Then if someone wanted it specific for a boy or girl it would be a very easy change. I used pampers sensitive size one diapers and a foam wreath mold. I am a single mom and this actually gives me some down time to be myself and be creative!

purple duck diaper wreath with party in my crib tonight sign

This was the diaper wreath I made for my first grandchild, I took it into the hospital the next morning after he was born and hung it on the IV pole. The nurses were amazed. It kept disappearing as the nurses were showing it off to their co- workers.

texas longhorn football diaper wreath

My first diaper wreath was made for my son. My son is a huge Texas Longhorn fan so for their couples' shower I made him a Texas Longhorn Baby Diaper Wreath.

It included an infant fitted baseball cap and a mini-longhorn bat, 4 onesies, 4 pairs of socks/booties, burp cloth, 2 bottles, 2 pacifiers, 1 plush longhorn/football key chain, bib, soft mini football, and a longhorn football Pez dispenser & candy for dad.

My son and daughter-in-law are having a baby any day now and his sisters decided to give them a couples shower. The nursery is safari animals with an emphasis on Giraffes. So I made them a safari animal wreath just for the hospital.

blue and pink glow worm diaper wreath instructions

The picture is of our second wreath we ever made. The first one we made was for my sister. This one is for her sister. It has been 3 or 4 years in between wreaths and we were more than a little rusty to say the least. We didn't even remember where to start. So, like with every other project temporary amnesia case, we were off to the internet in search of a start point. We came across your web site and the ideas started flowing like crazy. We went from where to start to too many starting points. In the end the wreath is one of our best craft projects ever.

I made this diaper wreath for my sister and her son. I love the tub letters for his name. I think this took me about 30 minutes. I used a wire wreath and just weaved in the diapers.

winnie the pooh orange flower diaper wreath

To make this pooh diaper wreath, take a wire hanger and tie the diapers around it. Then embellish it with items that are useful for the mom to be. These are great for the hospital door, once the little one arrives.

pink and white kitty cat diaper wreath

Here is a photo of a diaper wreath I recently made for a baby shower.

I used a grape vine wreath, a white plastic table cloth, 60 diapers, Small hair rubber bands, 4 colors of ribbon mostly pink, 3 small bottles, 4 bibs, lotion, q-tips,3 teething rings, butt paste, stuffed animal, and 2 pacifiers.

Cut the table cloth into strips and cover the wreath. Then open the diaper and wrap around the wreath, keeping them closed together secure with the rubber bands. Take a small piece of ribbon and tie around each diaper. I used the curly ribbon to tie the other decorations on with the colored ribbon. When the mother uses the diapers and takes everything off, she can then use the wreath on a door or wall.

pink bear diaper wreath

First of all I want to say THANKS, THANKS and THANKS for your website. I made this diaper cake for my niece Crystal who had a baby girl on 12/11/11.

However, most of the items were from things I had for my Grandson who moved out of state. When I found your website, I decided to try to make a diaper cake with the items I had for him, being that I won't see him for a longtime.

Anyway I use pampers, a wood wreath and rubber bands. I used pink and white ribbon (remember to buy curling ribbon, I didn't :( to make it more for a girl. Putting the pampers on took the longest amount of time (remember it was my first time though.)

Then I added white onesies, white baby shoes, teethers, wrist rattle, baby keys, Winnie the pooh pacifier and holder, and rattle. I have also made a diaper stork with a towel and took it to the hospital to my niece and baby she loved it. :)

I am a first time grandma in Phoenix AZ, and I am going to start selling and making these beautiful precious baby gifts and center pieces. I have learned sooo much from your website. Like baby rose socks, baby cupcakes, baby shower soap cake, baby towel lollipops, etc. Will send you more pictures as I progress.

To make this diaper wreath I used:

It was time consuming to add the diapers and put the rubberband around them, but fun!!! All the other things went really quick and I enjoyed it as well.

monkey diaper wreath

First, cut a large circle out of foam board. Then open small size baby diapers and wrap it around the board with the opening facing out. Tie curling ribbon around it to hold in place, doing this all around the circle. Attach various baby items including 5 baby wash cloths, 2 small baby bottles, 1 baby rattle, 3 pairs of baby booties, 2 binkies and travel size baby lotion, powder, bath and diaper cream, with more curling ribbon. Attach a ribbon at the top for hanging and curl all the ends of the ribbons. This was made by Brittany Hallinan for her sister Heather Hallinan's baby shower.

I read your description of how to make diaper wreaths last night. I have a shower to attend in two days. So today I went shopping and ended up with this. Thank you so much for easy to use instructions. This was FUN! I used a white Styrofoam wreath, pink, purple and white hair bands to tie the diapers on, pink and purple curly ribbon to tie gifts on...slippers, shoes, hats, lotion, socks, Rabbit, etc. It took less than an hour. I added hair bows for more fluff and fun. I also bought a pair of PJs and a dress to match the slippers and shoes, and threw those and left over diapers, hair bands and bows into a gift bag. I used size 2 diapers.

turtle diaper wreath

My daughter is having her first baby, so I made this for her shower! I followed the directions on your page and I used 22 diapers. I made it using a coat hanger, ribbon, size 2 diapers, rattles and turtles. To make it, I bent a clothes hanger into a round shape, then added 22 diapers to make it tight. These were each tied with string. I then took small ribbon and wrapped it around each diaper to cover where the string was. I made a bow with a ribbon with wired edges and used other ribbon to make hanging ribbon. I tied all the rattles on with smaller ribbon and tied the turtle on also. I did it this way so I didn't have to use tape or glue.
