3 to 4 tablespoons peanut butter, optional
3 cups oats, quick or old-fashioned
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation:

Place chocolate chips, peanut butter (if used), oats, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl. Combine the margarine, milk, and sugar in a saucepan; bring to a rolling boil. Boil for 1 minute. Combine the hot mixture with the oatmeal and chocolate chip mixture; stir well. Drop mixture by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Let sit and cool for at least an hour. Thanks for posting this recipe. Love these no bake cookies! They are a fun and easy snack for kids to make. I make them for all of our family get-togethers.

Have you heard of peanut butter haystacks? It is another favorite of ours.

Here is the recipe if you are interested:

2 cups Chow Mein noodles
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 cup butterscotch chips
1/2 cups salted peanuts

Melt butterscotch chips and peanut butter together in the microwave. I like to stir every 10 seconds until melted and smooth. Add Chow Mein noodles and peanuts and stir well. Drop by spoonfuls on wax paper. Cool and enjoy!
