Purse Bingo Baby Shower Game

We played this game at a recent baby shower I went to and it was really fun. The hostess handed out blank bingo cards for us to use. Then everyone filled the blanks with items they found in their purse. Items ranged from the typical...such as a penny, lipstick, gum, Kleenex, mirror, wallet to the more interesting.

Once we all had our boxes filled, the mom-to-be started taking items out of her purse. If it was the same as we had on our bingo card then we would fill the square in. First person to get a bingo wins!

This is a great game! We have played it a few times at baby and bridal showers with different variations. A quick and easy way to play this game is with the personalized baby bingo cards . You can pre-fill in items that are common in a purse, or leave them blank for your guests to fill in.

Variations: One of the variations we have done was using a points system with this game. Guests go through their own purses with a checklist. For every item on the list, they get a point. Certain items have more points than others. At the end, the person with the most points win! Hope this helps. Have a great baby shower!

What's in her purse?

We had a variation of this at my bridal shower. It was hilarious! I set it up so there was a friend of mine whom no one knew come to the party. As it started, she started fumbling through her purse and had a worried look on her face. She asked around to see whose bridal shower she was at. When they told her, she had a horrified look on her face and said she accidentally went to the wrong location and that she was supposed to be at a different bridal shower. She hammed it up really well and everyone was embarrassed for her. As she was grabbing her stuff, she "accidentally" spilled her purse and made sure lots of stuff came out. Once she left, we had a memory game on what was in her purse. Everyone was so focused on her embarrassment that they couldn't remember everything they saw in the purse. She was a great actress and no one could believe it was all fake. Although, we all agreed that it would be very embarrassing to be at the wrong party. Lol! Lots of fun!

You can do a mommy's purse bingo where they just guess what they think she will have in her purse. That way you don't have to worry about the guests that did not bring their own purse. :)
