This baby blue shower cake was made out of 5" and 8" fondant covered cakes with fondant stripes, bow and balls. The baby booties were made out of gumpaste.

To make this baby shower cake, I iced an 8 and 6 inch stacked cake. I made the the baby booties with fondant. Then I added baby feet and daisies (also made with fondant) to the cake. I finished the cake off by lacing the baby booties with a light yellow ribbon.

2 tier cake. The top tier bigger then the bottom. Color theme of the baby shower was lavender and light green. I put stars, moons and hearts on top layer. Bottom layer is striped with a big bow on it. I topped the cake with fondant booties. It was my special little touch. The couple loved it!

I made this Teddy Bear and Booties baby shower cake for a friend who was having a boy, and had brown, blue and bears for her theme.

CAKE I baked one 13 inch round and a 5 inch round vanilla cake. The filling was chocolate mousse. They were both covered in homemade mm light blue fondant. Then I made 2 white fondant strips for the base of the cakes. For decoration, I made small brown buttons out of fondant and placed them on the strips.

DECORATIONS Teddy is made from dark brown, light brown, and black gumpaste. His bow was made from light blue fondant Blocks were made out of white and blue fondant Rattle was made by using a candy apple stick as a base. It's handle and globes were made from gumpaste and the decorations from fondant. Booties were the hardest part! They are made from gumpaste. Pieces cut separately and formed together. I actually laced them with strips of gumpaste and made a bow on top. Banner was also gumpaste and written with edible ink marker. I hope you like it! :)
