I loved the pics of the diaper cakes and I took want I liked and left what I didn't and made a beautiful cake my first time through. I loved the flowers and also the stuffed animal. I also hid things in the cake. I went for more of an elegant look. Thanks so much. P.S. I also made the booties from the styrofoam cups. I personalized 3/4" lables (the ones that are on a 3x6 sheet are way cheaper) with baby feet and the babys name and put them on the bottom of hugs and kisses and put them in the booties.

 This is the first diaper cake I have ever made thanks to this website. It was so fun, and very easy! I went to Hobby Lobby for ideas, and found everything there. I added the cute Ty pluffie dog on top with a personalized hat with the baby's name on top.

I made a diaper cake for her at her shower and then got so many compliments on it so I decided to open a business doing these. I also do wreaths and lollipop bouquets (out of washcloths). Baby Diaper Cakes are as simplistic as you make it. First, decide what type of cake you want i.e., 1 tier, 2 tier, etc. Have your theme already in place, example themes are boy, girl, tiger, frogs, etc. Once you have this in place you can start shopping for your ingredients. Baby’s R Us is a great store and also a Michael’s or a Craft thrift store has so many things you will need on your listing i.e., ribbons, baby ornaments, clear wrapping paper for final touches, etc. Now, find a large open space to start the project. Take your time and a couple days if you need to. The important thing is to make in FUN!!! 
My husband, son and future Daughter-n-Law and I made this for her best friends shower. We used 1 big bottle and 1 small bottle filled with candy for the center. Used rubber bands to roll the diapers. then tied bows on each diaper. used rubber bands to hold the diapers around the bottles. made 3 teirs. then used ribbons and wooden animals and baby goodies to decorate.
